Lotus Driving Academy Spreading Worldwide
A Lotus Driving Academy might be coming to a town near you.
The British automaker has announced its intention to offer Lotus Driving Academy franchises around the world. Currently, the only driving academy run by the company is located at its headquarters in Hethel, England, which caters to about 2000 customers a year.
“The Lotus Driving Academy was originally established in 1999, offering a comprehensive range of driver training and experience packages for customers to relish the benchmark handling and pure driving experience of Lotus cars,” said Jean-Marc Gales, CEO of Lotus. “I am pleased to announce that with this new franchising programme many more Lotus fans and driving enthusiasts around the world will be able to experience Lotus cars on track and fulfil their driving ambition.”

To receive a driving academy franchise, each prospective partner will have to live up to the brand’s high level of instruction, which has to be replicated around the world. All of the instructors, coordinators and service technicians will undergo comprehensive training to make sure that every driving academy meets Lotus’ expectation.
