The 2017 Lincoln Continental has made an early appearance on the Internet, albeit a blurry one.

Scheduled to make its official debut next week at the 2016 Detroit Auto Show, an extremely low-resolution photo of what is reportedly the new 2017 Lincoln Continental leaked ahead of time on Ford Inside News.

Although we can’t clearly see the details on the new Continental, forum users speculate this could be a lower-end model considering it has projector headlights rather than LED units that have become more commonplace in today’s luxury sedans. It does appear however that Lincoln has followed the direction from the Continental Concept (pictured below) that debuted last year at the New York Auto Show.

The sedan is expected to be powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine sporting 400 horsepower and all-wheel drive. AutoGuide.com will be reporting live from the 2016 Detroit Auto Show where we will be sure to get all the details once the 2017 Lincoln Continental becomes official.

Looks like a Jaguar. What a shame they could not stick to the concept which looks much more elegant.

In my opinion the front end looks better with those "low-grade" headlamps. Still, that front end is WAAAAAAY to derivative for me. I wish Lincoln actually did something different here rather than imitate Bentley and Jaguar.
