Ferrari has sent out invites to a special event where the new Ferrari FF is expected to debut.

Although the invitations do not explicitly say that the new Ferrari FF is making an appearance, it does say that it will be a world premiere for a V12 grand tourer with 2+2 seating, which sounds an awful lot like the FF. The reveal will take place on February 15 at Villa Erba on the shores of Lake Como before it will likely head to the 2016 Geneva Motor Show for its auto show debut.

Prototypes of the updated Ferrari FF have been caught by spy photographers since last year, so the timing lines up as well. Expect to see changes made to the sports car’s headlights, vents and tail lights, with the front and rear bumpers getting changed as well.

At Fiat Chrysler Automobiles’ (FCA) five-year strategy announcement in 2014, the automaker revealed that it planned to give Ferrari models an eight-year life cycle with a refresh after the first four years. The current Ferrari FF has been on the market since 2012, so it’s due for an update.

It is believed that the all-wheel-drive Ferrari FF will stick to its naturally aspirated 6.3-liter V12 engine with around 700 horsepower instead of the current 651-hp figure.
