Hyundai is showing that it’s getting serious with performance at the 2016 Paris Motor Show.
Unveiling the wild RN30 concept in Paris, Hyundai is previewing a hot hatch from its N performance sub-brand. Sporting a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that generates about 380 horsepower and 330 pound-feet of torque, the RN30 concept has been tested and developed at the Nurburgring. The Korean automaker started with an i30 hatch but has transformed it from bumper-to-bumper with aerodynamic enhancements, 19-inch wheels, a large rear diffuser and rear spoiler.
2016 Paris Motor Show Coverage
The production i30N is expected to be available sometime next year and it will be inspired by the concept shown here. But expect the production model to be toned down compared to the RN30 concept.
