You Can Get Into a 2018 Lexus LC Coupe for Under $100K

The Lexus flagship coupe starts from $92,975 including destination.

The standard Lexus LC500 is powered by a 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine, delivering 471 horsepower and 398 pound-feet of torque while mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Shoppers can also opt for the LC500h hybrid, featuring a 3.5-liter V6 hybrid powertrain with a total system output of 354 hp. That model starts from $97,485.

The Lexus LC coupe is the first model to ride on the Japanese luxury automaker’s Global Architecture – Luxury (GA-L) platform that is designed for new generations of front engine, rear-wheel-drive Lexus models. The LC500h is the company’s first model to benefit from its new Multi-Stage Hybrid system.

Standard features on the coupe include ultra-compact triple projector LED headlights, arrowhead daytime running lights (DRL), three-dimensional rear lamp, Drive Mode select, paddle shifters, next-generation Remote Touch Interface with touchpad, Lexus Premium Audio and a color 10.3-inch TFT multi-information display. The LC also comes equipped with standard Lexus Safety System+, a suite of active safety features including Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist/Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist and Intelligent High Beam.

There are several optional packages available for the Lexus LC, priced separately depending on the model. The Sport Package with Glass includes 20-inch forged wheels, Alcantara Sport seats, heated and ventilated front seats, two-way passenger seat lumbar, Lexus Premium Audio, LSD, BSM and IPA and is priced at $4,000 for the LC500 and $2,400 for the LC500h.

Then there’s the Sport Package with Carbon that adds carbon-fiber-reinforced-plastic (CFRP) composite roof, 21-inch forged wheels, Alcantara Sport seats, heated and ventilated front seats, two-way passenger seat lumbar, LSD, BSM and IPA. The package itself starts at $7,000 for the LC500 and $5,400 for the LC500h and options for it include a Mark Levinson audio system, head-up display and Cold Area Package.

Lastly there’s the Performance Package with Carbon that includes the Sport Package with Carbon and adds Active Rear Steering, Variable Gear Ratio System (VGRS), Active Rear Spoiler, Alcantara headliner and carbon-fiber scuff plates. The Performance Package with Carbon costs $10,000 on the LC500 and $8,790 on the LC500h.
