2019 GMC Sierra Spied Showing Off Its Updated New Headlights
The revised Sierra can be seen sporting it’s new headlights in this photo set, which take on a C-shape with a middle body coloured section framed by an LED light signature. The LED traces in the current Sierra form a ‘C’ pattern, so it appears GMC just gone one step further and shaped the entire headlamp that way. The camouflage is doing a better job at covering up the truck’s body, but it looks as though the GMC will be more conventionally styled than 2019 Silverado, appearing a bit blockier than the Chevy. The wheels on the prototype pictured here also look to be new and could appear on the production truck.

Much like the new Silverado, the Sierra will get General Motors’ 5.3-liter and 6.2-liter Small Block engines with its new cylinder deactivation technology, along with the 3.0-liter inline-six Duramax diesel. GM’s eight-speed auto should be paired with the 5.3-liter engine, while the 10-speed it co-developed with Ford will be on 6.2-liter V8 and diesel trucks. We’re not expecting any major changes in the cabin, also like the new truck, but some new trim and upholstery options could be on the table.
The 2019 GMC Sierra should appear at either the Chicago Auto Show in February, or the New York International Auto Show in March.
