After showing the 2019 Ram 1500 last month, it was obvious the heavily updated pickup would be part of Fiat Chrysler’s five-ad marketing campaign for Super Bowl 52.

Ram’s Super Bowl ad shows a group of vikings travelling to Minneapolis to watch the big game. Not surprisingly, they have a 2019 Ram 1500 in their company, a truck that is “built for the unexpected,” as FCA puts it. That’s a good thing, because the group is in for an interesting surprise once they get to Minnesota.

The version of the ad that aired during the Super Bowl 52 coverage was the short, 60-second version, but thanks to the magic of the internet, we have the full two-minute version to share with you. We’ve also embedded its Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Super Bowl 52 spot, which is embedded below.

Terrible commercial. It's a shame the King children licensed both his words and voice to sell a truck; and the rest of the images are equally irrelevant to the product. It's blatant manipulation.

My goodness...both of these were two of the worst commercials I've seen in a long time.
