2019 Genesis G70 Priced at $35,895, Turbo V6 From $44,745

The 2019 Genesis G70 will start at $35,895 for 2.0-liter turbocharged models equipped with the eight-speed automatic transmission.

For that price, which includes a $995 destination charge, buyers will land themselves in the ‘Advance’ trim level G70. Standard equipment on the entry-level model includes LED headlights, 18-inch wheels, heated mirrors, a hands-free trunk, keyless entry with push-button start, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, faux leather upholstery, dual-zone climate control, an 8-inch touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a range of driver assistance technologies including smart cruise control with stop and go.

More luxury items are included in the Elite trim level, which adds rain-sensing wipers, a power-tilt and telescoping steering wheel, leather upholstery, a sunroof, aluminum trim, front and rear parking sensors and Genesis welcome lights. The range-topping Prestige trim, meanwhile, comes equipped with power-adjustable seat leg supports, four-way lumbar adjust, heated rear seats, microfiber headliner, a head-up-display, Qi wireless charging and Nappa leather upholstery. Elite models equipped with the 2.0-liter will start at $40,895, while Prestige models with the 2.0-liter will start at $45,895.

The Sport model, which is only G70 offered with the six-speed manual transmission, will retail for $38,895 including destination. It includes all of the equipment on the Advance, in addition to 19-inch wheels, Brembo brakes, a limited-slip differential, a sports exhaust, a 15-speaker audio system and aluminum trim. The manual Sport model makes 255 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque from its 2.0-liter turbo, while automatic models make do with 252 hp and 260 lb-ft.

A 3.3-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine with 365 HP and 376 lb-ft of torque is also offered with the Advanced, Elite, Sport and Prestige trim levels. They include all the same equipment save for the V6 Sport, which receives exclusive extras in the way of electronically adjustable suspension, copper headlamp bezels, tinted taillights, a dark chrome grille, diamond quilt stitch seats and 19-inch wheels wrapped in Michelin PS4 summer tires. Prices for V6 Elite models start at $44,745, while Elite and Prestige models will cost $46,745 and $48,995, respectively. The V6 Sport is the most expensive G70 at $50,495.

Adding all-wheel drive to any G70 model will add $2,000 onto the price tag. The six-speed manual transmission is not available with all-wheel drive.
