Trucks are tools, and this Ford F-450 dubbed ‘The B.E.A.S.T’ is a useful tool for any law enforcement team, as its not only full of practical uses, but also quite intimidating.

The B.E.A.S.T came together thanks to a collaboration with Galpin Auto Sports and 5.11 Tactical to demonstrate a new line of breaching and entry tools developed in partnership with Sweden Entry Tools (S.E.T.) for law enforcement, fire departments and special forces. B.E.A.S.T stands for Breaching Entry Assault System Trainer, and the truck will be used to travel the country to visit local SWAT departments to showcase the new breach and enter tools.

The truck started as a stock F-450 FX4, and was fitted with tons of custom parts to prepare it for its new role. To start, the interior was outfitted with flashlight, knife, and accessory pockets, diamond plate floor mats, headrest mounted DVD players and completely reupholstered with 5.11’s clothing material. The truck got a six-inch suspension lift, and rides on 22-inch custom powder coated satin black American Force Classic wheels.

The B.E.A.S.T. can be heard from miles around thanks to a 150db triple train horn and a 50-watt electronic siren and P.A. system.

One of the biggest challenges was installing a 600-lb steel door which can be folded out from the rear of the truck, used to demonstrate the breaching and entry tools.

Although this is just an example, maybe this truck will find itself in a situation where it is needed, much like the F-550 Rescue Concept, or just in an action movie embarrassing the Acuras in the new Avengers movie.
