You’re not alone if you haven’t heard the name Qoros before, that’s because its a newly-formed subsidiary to Chinese automaker Chery.

Our photographers snagged a few spy photos featuring one of the new brand’s products which will sell in Europe and try to offer a mix of German design quality and Japanese reliability.

In the picture above, you see the C11, which is about the same size as a Volkswagen Jetta. It makes sense that the brand’s cars will have a lot in common with VWs because its vice chairman is a former Volkswagen executive.

The car is supposed to feature a Chery-sourced 1.6-liter turbocharged inline four cylidner paired with either a DCT or six-speed manual transmission. While we really don’t know much about the car yet, we’re curious to see what it will look like sans camo considering former MINI designer Gert Hildebrand is leading the brand’s styling.
