Renault Alpine A110-50 Takes a Drive With Its Spiritual Predecessor – Video
Last month brought the debut of the Renault Alpine A110-50 Concept, powered by a mid-mounted 3.5-liter V6 with 400-hp and 311 lb-ft of torque.
Without debate, the Alpine A110-50 Concept is radically designed compared to today’s sports cars, and the French automaker is gauging customer interest in building the spiritual successor to the Alpine 110 Berlinette. To stir the pot some more, Renault released a captivating and exciting video starring the exotic concept alongside the classic 110 Berlinette on a scenic and spirited drive up in the mountains.
There’s nothing like seeing old and new together on the road, and it’s a very well done video and a must watch – even if you’re not a fan of the Alpine (although we’re sure you are).

The Alpine A110-50 Concept is radically designed compared to todays sports cars. You got that right! This sports car totally reminds me of the Batmobile. Its predecessor, the Alpine 110 Berlinette looks good too! Both cars have amazing performance, and best of all, the exteriors are also beautifully crafted. Owning either of these cars will automatically make you look cooler.
You got that right, Ivo. Alpine A110-50 body is made from carbon fiber and is painted with the iconic Alpine Blue. It has half-ring yellow LED lights that evoke the hood-mounted fog lights just like the original.
