The Romanian police force has added a new car to its fleet and it’s certainly the most powerful by far: the 510-hp Jaguar XFR. Powered by a supercharged, 5.0-liter V8 engine, the XFR can hit 62 mph in just 4.9 seconds.

Either Romania has a whole lot of high-speed chases, or its police force just has a thing for fast cars, as the XFR joins an impressive police fleet that also includes the 350-hp Lotus Evora S. It’s worth mentioning that the XFR is joining the country’s highway patrol fleet, which certainly means getaway cars will have a much harder time getting away.

The XFR comes courtesy of Premium Auto, a local Jaguar importer. It’s just one vehicle in the fleet, but it’ll have six months of duty covering anywhere from 9,000 to 12,000 miles while on the job.
