Among the many heavily modified cars bound for the 2012 SEMA show, performance parts manufacturer ARK will bring its new Veloster “Alpine” concept.

ARK says the car is designed for snow sports enthusiasts, mostly because of its focused interior theme. That theme includes Alcantara, leather and WeatherTek breathable fabric chosen for their durability against moisture. Just like many other cars on the SEMA roster, the modifications go much farther than that.

It also comes with a snowboard rack, custom wind guard and mud flaps. That’s also before looking at the drivetrain modifications which exist in spades.

First of all, it offers 232 hp and 240 lb-ft of torque – a substantial increase over the production Veloster Turbo it’s based on. The most notable changes include a Nitrous Express Proton Kit, an ARK Veloster Turbo exhaust system and many others.

It also comes with bigger brakes, a coilover system, and air motion cup suspension kit and more.

Apart from the Veloster Alpine Concept, ARK will aos be bringing a heavily modified R-Spec Genesis Coupe.
