German luxury automaker Mercedes-Benz is looking to refresh the majority of its lineup, promising to refresh or replace 19 existing models in addition to bringing 11 new models to market.

According to Steve Cannon, CEO of Mercedes-Benz USA, the next eight years will be the biggest growth phase in America for Mercedes, from the introduction of the new CLA-Class, to a refresh on its flagship S-Class sedan model. But the biggest news is the introduction of a C-Class convertible variant, which will be the German automaker’s new entry drop-top model.

Currently, the E-Class convertible is the cheapest convertible the German automaker offers, and Mercedes hopes to attract a whole new segment of buyers with its C-Class convertible. The CLA-Class will come first next year, joined by a refreshed E-Class and a new S-Class sedan.
