Back in August the future looked bleak for German supercar maker Gumpert after it applied for provisional insolvency hoping to round up enough investment money to start paying down its debuts.

Now, however, it appears that good news may be on the horizon for the German supercar maker, according to reports.

Though the company has not confirmed the rumors, an unnamed Gumpert employee has reported that the automaker’s future has been guaranteed by a new investor. It was expected that several investors would be interested in saving Gumpert, and it appears that one of those may pan out; unfortunately we’ll have to hold on tight to see if a deal does go through.
