BMW Plotting 20 Models With Front-Wheel Drive
BMW is bringing out a new batch of FWD cars all based on the same platform, and AutoExpress says there may be as many as 20 different models using these underpinnings.
“We’ve got plans to produce up to 20 new models on this platform. Not all of them have been approved yet – we’ve got approval on 10-12 new models,” Ian Robertson, member of the board of management at BMW told AutoExpress.
The first models set to arrive on this platform are the next-generation MINI, and the BMW Active Tourer Concept, which will be known as the 1 Series GT. A MINI Convertible, a Coupe and the Clubman are all set to arrive in FWD form as well sometime in the future.
BMW may use this platform for the next-gen X1, a small sports car that may be called the Z2, and the next-generation 1 Series sedan and coupe.

bye bye BMW you have lost your mind
What little respect I had left for this Brand is quickly circling the drain. Sounds like I will be sticking to pre 2000s models from here on out.
