2014 Chevy Corvette Sounds Fantastic in Teaser Video

The all-new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingrayas provocative exterior styling is as functional as it is elegant; every line, vent, inlet and surface has been optimized to enhance the car's overall performance.

Although almost every aspect of the new Chevrolet Corvette has been revealed and detailed, though a new video released by the brand gives us a first taste of what the American sports car will sound like.

Chevrolet only gives us a a quick sample of what the Corvette’s 450-hp V8 will sound like at full tilt, showing only five seconds worth of the car on the track. The spot closes with the tagline “enemy of the same,” with GM trying to sell the fact that this Corvette is all new.

The Corvette is expected to get 24 mpg during highway driving, and can be had with a seven-speed rev-matching transmission.
