The United States Postal Service (USPS) is releasing a limited edition of five classic muscle car stamps this year.

The five vehicles featured on the stamps are: 1966 Pontiac GTO, 1967 Shelby GT-500, 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona, 1970 Plymouth Hemi ‘Cuda, and 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS. The limited edition stamps are “forever” stamps which means they’ll always work for first-class mail even if the postage rate increases. They will debut on February 22 at Daytona International Speedway, two days before the 55th annual Daytona 500.

To celebrate the debut, Richard Petty and his son Kyle, will be at the dedication ceremony.

The stamps are part of the America on the Move series and can already be pre-ordered on the USPS website. Two other sets of stamps have already been released in the series back in 2005 and 2008. The stamps will come in sheets of 20 – four for each model – and is priced at $9.20 per sheet — the same as regular stamps.
