“If I can make it there, I’ll make it any where” goes the song New York, New York, and you can’t help but think Hyundai is humming the tune as it releases a teaser of the updated 2014 Equus which will debut at the New York Auto Show in about two weeks.

There’s not much we can see in the dimly lit teaser, but Hyundai does say that significant changes are on the way, including more than 30 new and enhanced features.

Among them Hyundai mentions updating styling both inside and out, as well as advanced safety features. Hyundai shares a few more tidbits, stating that the Equus will be getting “Ride, handling and vehicle control dynamics” which might hint at the big sedan getting Hyundai’s FLEX STEER variable steering system.

Additionally, Hyundai claims that the new Equus will get new driver technology displays, although we wouldn’t count on the high-tech eye-tracking and gesture based setup that Hyundai showed off in the HCD-14 concept.
