It looks like the Ford C-Max is going much the same way as the new Fusion and adopting some Aston Martin-esque style, and our spy photograpgers managed to grab some shots of the facelifted Ford out testing in Sweden.

The new 2014 Ford Fiesta was the first to adopt the new Ford face, after it debuted on the Ford Fusion. Besides the front fascia, the C-Max does not appear to be getting any other appearance changes.

The C-Max is targeted directly at the Toyota Prius V, and has managed to outsell the Toyota for six straight months.

The current C-Max uses a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that joins forces with an electric motor for total output of 188-hp. It is EPA rated at 47 mpg city, highway and combined, though many consumers have complained about not being able to achieve the stated fuel economy.

This is the European C-MAX which has the older 2 grill front end. The C-MAX Hybrid is launching in Europe next year, and Ford is just upgrading the non-hybrid version sold in Europe to the 3 grill front end to match the US model currently with the 3 grill front end.
