2014 Chevy Impala Scores Five-Star Crash Rating

The 2014 Chevrolet Impala has been given top safety marks from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration after completing the agencies New Car Assessment Program.

This full-size sedan received a complete redesign for 2014, which brought the Impala a new design and a host of new safety features, helping the car receive five stars from NHSTA. It features adaptive cruise control, forward collision alert, lane departure warning, rear cross traffic alert, backup camera, hill start assist and blind spot monitoring.

Besides radar-based safety features, the Impala also packs 10 standard air bags and seat belt pretensioners.
