Jaguar and Subaru saw the industry’s biggest gains last month with a 59 and 42 percent increase respectively.

Jaguar benefited from sales of its new F-Type convertible helped the brand boost its numbers. The company reported selling 417, which still sits behind both the XF mid-size and XJ full-size sedans. Subaru’s gains were fueled by strong demand for the Outback, Forester and XV Crosstrek. The BRZ sports coupe actually saw a small dip in its sales over this time last year.

The Detroit 3 also saw strong gains led by truck sales and helped by crossover popularity.

Chrysler saw an eight percent gain in sales, helped by a 23 percent bump in its Ram trucks. Ford saw similar gains with 24 percent better sales for its F-Series pickups. Finally, General Motors saw the Silverado rise 29 percent and the Sierra 32 percent.
