Infiniti Q90 Flagship Sedan Sketch Leaked

Noticeably absent from Infiniti‘s current lineup is a range-topping sedan, a model that would take on the likes of the BMW 7 Series and the Mercedes-Benz S-Class.

Alfonso Albaisa, who is currently the executive design director for the Japanese automaker, is looking to change that if the above sketch is any sign. Unfortunately, as with all leaks like this, very little details are presented but one thing is clear: Infiniti wants to have a flagship model and it could be coming soon.

Currently at the top of Infiniti’s model range is its M models, which will be renamed to the Q70 when the next-generation of the sedan is introduced. That said, this sketch of a larger flagship model with a long wheelbase, larger wheels and massive front grille points toward what would presumably be called the Q90.

Past reports have suggested Infiniti is indeed exploring the idea of a new top-tier sedan and brand boss Johan de Nysschen even went so far as to say it wouldn’t be conventional like the 7 Series or S-Class. That said, a swoopy coupe-style model similar to the A7, Mercedes CLS or the sketch above, certainly fits the bill.

It looks beautiful is what it looks! Come on Infiniti... don't leave us hanging. Give me a reason not to buy an A8.
