It’s time for Volvo to re-enter the US wagon market, and the company is marking the occasion with the V60 R-Design, the most fully loaded trim of the new generation wagon.

While front-wheel drive V60 wagons will be equipped with one of Volvo’s new turbocharged four-cylinder engines which make 240-hp, all wheel drive models will get the same turbo-five cylinder motor that current S60s have. That engine makes just 250-hp. In this R-Design model, the car sends 325-hp to all four wheels.

R-Design models also get 19-inch wheels, and other aggressive looking features, but the main draw to these wagons is the extra capability and storage space. Inside you’ll see premium touches like nubuck leather-trimmed seats.

Expect the V60 wagon to hit Volvo dealerships early next year, and check out the video for more information.
