2014 Ford Fiesta Earns Four-Star NHTSA Safety Rating

The 2014 Ford Fiesta has earned a four-star overall safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

The American automaker’s compact model received four stars in the front and rollover crash tests, but only received two stars in the side-impact crash test. The four-star overall safety rating applies to both the hatchback and sedan models. The highest rating from NHTSA’s crash test is five stars.

The 2014 Ford Fiesta also received good ratings in all crash tests from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) but only received a marginal rating in the small overlap front crash test.
