BMW is already hard at work on new M4 variants.

The German automaker has been spotted testing what appears to be an M4 GTS that looks ready to take on the track. While it seems that this is just a safety car for the MotoGP, those decals are actually part of the M4’s camouflage as is evident by what’s being concealed on the front bumper and the rear spoiler.

When compared to the BMW M4 MotoGP safety car, the M4 spied testing on the track has a more pronounced chin spoiler on the front bumper and a sizeable rear spoiler that hints at a high-performance version of the M4. Visible through the window are Recaro seats in the cabin further adding evidence that BMW is working on continuing its tradition of GTS models for its sports coupe.
