Tony Stewart has been cleared in the death of Kevin Ward Jr.

A New York state grand jury decided not to indict Stewart after meeting for two days and deliberating for less than an hour. During the announcement that Stewart would not be charged in the fatal accident, it was also revealed that Kevin Ward Jr. was under the influence of marijuana and that the levels “were enough to impair judgment,” said District Attorney Michael Tantillo.
