The SEMA show is underway this week and Chevrolet is not done teasing the cars they’re bring to Vegas. Today the company is showing us a beefed up Colorado pickup, that has upgrades and stuff.

With the help of Motorcross rider Ricky Carmichael, Chevy is able to show off the life-style versatility of its latest truck. With its 6″2 bed with concept bed extender, the Colorado Performance Concept is capable of hauling Carmichael’s mountain bike and motorcross bike.

The truck also features the company’s patent pending GearOn accessory system, which can hold large items such as bikes, boards and kayaks above the bed, and allow smaller items such as tents and sleeping bags in the bed. It can even accommodate 4 x 8-foot sheets of plywood above the wheelhouses.

The truck features style and graphics that suit Carmichael, along with 17-inch alloys with Goodyear Duratec offroad tires. The interior features yellow accents and Carmichael’s racing number 4 embroidered into the front seat headrests.

Under the hood of the Performance Concept is the 3.6-liter V6 engine that makes 305 hp. The show car features a performance exhaust. Check out our SEMA Show Coverage page for more information once the show starts, and expect our usual video coverage as well.
