The best new truck of 2015 is the all-new Ford F-150.

Back in December we announced that the 2015 AutoGuide.com Truck of the Year was the F-150 and this week at the Detroit Auto Show we handed over our new award to the folks at Ford.

News Editor and AutoGuide truck expert Stephen Elmer (left) and AutoGuide Group Editorial Director Colum Wood (right) were on hand to deliver the TOTY award to Ford Truck Group marketing manager Doug Scott.

One of few outlets to do so, AutoGuide.com’s Truck of the Year award is the result of extensive testing, including payload, towing as well as both on- and off-road performance.

The 2015 Ford F-150 beat out the GMC Sierra Denali HD 3500, the Ram 2500 Power Wagon and the GMC Canyon to win this year’s AutoGuide.com Truck of the Year award.

Smart pick guys! Steve seems like a true truck guy, not like the poseurs at those other sites.
