An Epic New Look at the Lamborghini Aventador SV Nurburgring Lap Time
Lamborghinis are fast, that’s a given. The question with these cars becomes, just how fleet are they?
Well, the exotic Italian automaker’s Aventador LP 750-4 SV devoured the Nürburgring in less than 7 minutes, if just barely.
In fact, they claim this car circled the Nordschleife’s 13 miles of punishing pavement in a scant 6 minutes 59.73 seconds with driver Marco Mapelli behind the wheel. Documenting this feat of high-speed driving and motorsports-grade engineering for all to enjoy, the company put together an epic video highlighting the accomplishment.

With a talented hot-shoe behind the wheel it’s not hard to imagine a three-wheeled rickshaw setting a record at the legendary Green Hell, but a driver can only work with what they’ve got. Fortunately the Aventador LP 750-4 SV is overflowing with speed-enhancing features.

For more stick than a bucket of super glue it’s equipped with all-wheel drive and Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires. Very cool video - these tires are special. The SV is still single clutch? Ring vids are great. My fave is the Z28, yes not near the 7 min mark, but great to see an American handling so well plus it was a damp track.
