Jeep is expanding a recall of the 2014 and 2015 Cherokee.

A small number of inadvertent airbag deployments initiated this recall, which is now expanding to an additional 62,148 Cherokees in the U.S. The expansion comes after a review of the initial batch of vehicles that were recalled. Jeep says it doesn’t know of any additional incidents of the airbags deploying inadvertently.

Vehicles that suffered from randomly deploying airbags were usually in harsh, off-road conditions on severe angles, prompting the airbags to deploy as a rollover was deemed imminent. Dealers will provide a software recalibration that increases the threshold for airbag deployment to fix the issue.

This puts the total number of Cherokees affected to 230,240.
