2016 Nissan Maxima SR Midnight Previewed
Nissan is previewing its new Maxima SR Midnight, a special edition version of its revamped sport sedan.
The 2016 Nissan Maxima SR Midnight will serve as the featured vehicle during the Japanese automaker’s sponsorship of the BET Experience. The special edition sedan has Super Black exterior paint, rear sport spoiler, rocker panel moldings, rear bumper diffuser, splash guards, black 19-inch wheels and Charcoal premium leather interior with Alcantara inserts. Not only will the model be shown off at the BET Experience in Los Angeles this week, the company will serve as the official automotive sponsor of the four-day event.

Powered by a 3.5-liter VQ-series V6 engine, the 2016 Nissan Maxima SR Midnight has 300 hp and is available now at dealerships nationwide. Pricing will start at $41,230 including destination, which is quite the premium over the standard Maxima that starts at $33,235. The 2016 Nissan Maxima SR without the Midnight package starts from $38,495.
The Nissan Maxima SR model, which serves as the foundation for the Midnight Edition adds sport-tuned suspension, Integrated Dynamics-control Module (IDM), a front chassis performance damper, premium Ascot leather-appointed seats with diamond-quilted Alcantara inserts, climate-controlled front seats, Ascot leather-appointed steering wheel with Alcantara insert, paddle shifters, aluminum sport pedals, “Liquid Chrome” faceted finishers, LED low beam headlights, 19-inch diamond-cut machined aluminum-alloy wheels and 245/40R19 all-season tires developed specifically for the model.
