A select few individuals got to see the all-new Lamborghini hypercar this past weekend in Pebble Beach and a few details leaked from the exclusive event.

The new hypercar, which was apparently presented as a hologram, will carry a price tag starting at $1.2 million while only 20 units will be produced. Lambo has demonstrated this type of high-cost, low-production hypercar before with the Reventon, Aventador J and the Veneno (seen above).

Rumor has it that the car will be called the HyperVeloce, and will be based on the Aventador SuperVeloce which was recently unveiled. A 6.5-liter V12 will likely power the car, while output may be pushed as high as 800 hp.

These types of cars work well as both an exercise in branding and marketing along with giving Lambo’s designers and engineers a chance to step outside the box. “We want to showcase innovations…there are still a lot of ideas in our heads,” Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann told Yahoo Autos. “We don’t want to do concept cars for the museum. We want to give customers the potential to enjoy the cars on the road.”

We’ll have to wait until closer to the car’s official unveil at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show in March, 2016 for more details.
