Mercedes is preparing to launch the high-performance version of its new E-Class, the E63 AMG.

New spy photos have revealed the car with little camouflage on it, giving us a clear look at the new luxury speed machine. Some of the upgrades seen in the photos include new large front air intakes, wider fender, larger brake calipers, slotted and drilled brake rotors and new quad exhaust tips. The hood is also revised on this test car, resembling the unit found on the S-Class Coupe.

Under the hood, a 4.0-liter Bi-turbo V8 is expected to be found, delivering up to 600 horsepower.

Inside, the new 2017 Mercedes E-Class offers plenty of hints as to what the new E63 AMG will be packing, including massive display screens and the latest technology.

An all-new platform now sits under the E-Class, which should help the E63 shed some weight. At first, the sedan version is expected to debut while a convertible, wagon and coupe are expected to join the lineup sometime after launch. We should see the new E63 AMG for the first time at the 2016 Paris Motor Show in September.
