What’s hotter than the Jaguar F-Type R? The 20176 Jaguar F-Type SVR courtesy of the British automaker’s Special Vehicle Operations division.

As the fastest series production car ever created by Jaguar, the F-Type SVR packs a mean punch with the supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine churning 575 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque. That’s an improvement of 25 hp and 12 lb-ft of torque over the already impressive F-Type R. Sending power to all four wheels is an eight-speed automatic transmission, which might be the only major complaint one can have about the car.

It also lands on the scale 55 pounds lighter than the F-Type R, but further weight reduction can be had to a total of 110 lbs by adding carbon ceramic brakes and a carbon fiber roof. Adding those goodies will give the Jaguar F-Type SVR a zero-to-60-mph time of 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 200 mph.

On the outside, bodywork has been fine tuned to maximize downforce while new hood vents and larger air intakes help keep the engine bay nice and cool. On all four corners are 20-inch wheels while the rear has an active carbon fiber spoiler and a lightweight titanium exhaust system.

Shoppers can look forward to the 2017 Jaguar F-Type SVR arriving dealerships this summer, priced from $126,945 including destination for the coupe and $129,795 for the convertible.
