Ford Straps EcoBoost Power to Skateboard, Blender in New Ads

Ford’s strategy of adding its lineup of turbocharged EcoBoost engines to everything is getting a little out of hand.

For its latest ad campaign, Ford used its 1.0-liter three-cylinder EcoBoost engine to power a few different devices, including a blender, a pitching machine and even a skateboard. Ford enlisted actor Dolph Lundgren as a spokesman for the small turbo engine in the spots.

The 123-horsepower engine propels the skateboard and stuntman up to 60 mph, while the pitching machine hurls 200 mph fast balls. Finally, the super blender takes on silverware, wood and even another blender.
