The debut of the Alfa Romeo Stelvio will take place at the 2016 L.A. Auto Show.

Spy photographers have caught prototypes of the Alfa Romeo Stelvio testing in recent months, but all the camouflage will be shed in Los Angeles this November. Last year, Alfa Romeo used the L.A. Auto Show to premiere the Giulia sedan.

The SUV will ride on a variation of the Giulia’s all-new platform, which is designed for both rear- and all-wheel-drive powertrains. Expect to see a wide range of both gasoline and diesel four-cylinder and V6 engines to be used.

To keep up with the X5 M, X6 M and AMG SUVs of the world, Alfa Romeo will also offer a high-performance Quadrifoglio Verde variant, powered by the same 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 engine used in the Giulia.

The Alfa Romeo Stelvio is still expected to arrive dealerships by the end of 2017.
