The all-new Volvo XC40 will be unveiled September 21.

To get us excited for what Volvo claims to be the “best-equipped vehicle in its class,” the Swedish automaker has released a short teaser video for the upcoming compact crossover. As expected, the video doesn’t reveal too much about the new XC40, but we do get treated to small glimpses of the car’s details.

The new Volvo XC40 will ride on the company’s Compact Modular Architecture (CMA) that will also be used to underpin other 40 Series models. As a compact crossover, the XC40 will compete with the Audi Q3, BMW X1, and Mercedes-Benz GLA in the luxury segment.

Something tells us this one be the final teaser of the XC40 leading up to its premiere next week, so stay tuned if you’re excited to see what Volvo is coming up with next.
