New Hyundai Veloster Set to Star in 'Ant Man and the Wasp'
Hyundai is the latest automaker to team up with Marvel Studios.
The 2019 Hyundai Veloster is set to play a significant role in the upcoming Ant Man and the Wasp, set to be released in theaters on July 6. The Korean automaker said teaming up with this major franchise is part of a global marketing initiative to launch the newly redesigned sporty coupe, while increasing brand awareness with Marvel fans around the world.
“The 2019 Hyundai Veloster will find itself at home in the Super Hero world when it is used on screen in a hot pursuit,” said Hyundai in a release. “The heroic scene showcases the Veloster’s capabilities in serving as the ultimate escape vehicle as the tailing cars can’t handle the speed and handling of the Veloster – no matter its size.”

It appears the Veloster won’t be the only Hyundai vehicle starring in the upcoming movie, as the automaker did say other models from its lineup will be making their Hollywood debut in Ant Man and the Wasp.
Hyundai joins other notable brands to partner up with Marvel Studios, including Audi and Acura. Lexus has also recently teamed up to star in Black Panther, which lands in theaters in the U.S. on February 16.
