The new Mercedes-AMG G63 Edition 1 has made its debut ahead of the 2018 Geneva Motor Show next month.

The G63 Edition 1 manages to make the new G-Class look even more menacing with matte black paint, grey body side graphics, black 22-inch wheels with red accents and red center caps, along with red painted brake calipers.

The theme continues inside with red and black leather upholstery, a flat bottom steering wheel with a red 12 o’clock marking and dark gloss red carbon fiber trim.

This being an appearance package only, the G63 Edition 1 has the same performance as the standard G63. The SUV’s 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine makes 577 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque, which is paired to a nine-speed automatic transmission. The sprint to 60 mph is done with in 4.4s, and if you opt for the AMG driver’s pack, it will also do up to 149 mph.

Pricing and availability for the 2018 Mercedes-AMG Edition 1 is not yet available. We’ve reached out to Mercedes-Benz for more info, so we’ll update this story when we hear back.
