2020 Hyundai Venue Pricing Revealed, Entry Level SUV Starts At $17,250

Hyundai has announced the pricing of its latest SUV, the Venue.

Set to be the brand’s latest entry-level model, the prices start from just $17,250 with freight charges sitting at $1,095. The SUV will be available across dealerships from the end of this month. It will feature two transmission options. The engine however, will be the same 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine across the board.

Features like a 3.5-inch TFT screen, rearview monitor, an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay will be offered as standard. The Venue will also get Hyundai’s SmartSense safety package as standard which includes front collision-avoidance assist with pedestrian detection, ESC, lane-keeping assist and traction controls. Front, side and curtain airbags will be a part of the standard kit as well.

The Venue will be available with three trims, SE, SEL, and Denim. SE will be the only trim available with the 6-speed manual transmission. SEL, will be available with two additional packages. The Convenience package will add a power sunroof, sliding armrest storage, leather-wrapped steering to the mix along with blindspot detection with rear cross-traffic collision warning system. The Premium package will require the Convenience package to be installed and will come with heated front seats, heated side mirrors, LED headlamps, 17-inch alloys, and Hyundai’s Blue Link connected car system. This will be the most expensive trim of the lot at $22,050.

The Denim trim features its own unique dual-tone color scheme with a contrasting white roof. The dual-tone theme will be carried over to the interior as well. The Denim trim can be had with or without the premium package which should make it the top trim on the Venue portfolio and will retail for $21,950.

The primary rivals for the Venue will be the Nissan Kicks, Honda HR-V and the Ford EcoSport.
