Got an SRT model vehicle and looking for the best way to enjoy it? The automaker is embracing all its owners and enthusiasts, launching the DriveSRT Events website to help them locate official SRT-related events around the nation.

We are probably more excited than SRT is for the Viper’s return to the American Le Man Series, but the brand and its race team has finally announced that the GTS-R will make it highly anticipated race debut at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Challenge from August 2 through 4.

Hardly media shy, the 2013 SRT Viper has been in and out of headlines since its New York debut,  sans stripe paint — until now.

Earlier in April, SRT revealed its Viper GTS-R race car that is destined to return to the American Le Mans Series this year and now we know when.

The SRT Tour kicked off this weekend at Carlisle Chrysler Nationals in Carlisle, PA and will be heading around the country, coming to an end in late September at the Viper Owner Invitational in Charlotte, NC.

Athleticism on (or off) the track has always been the Viper’s calling card and with the GTS-R’s upcoming American Le Mans debut, the most recent video should be enough to get anyone excited.

With its first baby practically delivered and a second one lined up for the oven, rumors of a third SRT vehicle to accompany the Viper and Barracuda are beginning to surface.
