2024 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro Adds Exclusive Color

The 4Runner TRD Pro comes standard with a Multi-Terrain Monitor that uses cameras to help the driver navigate through challenging terrains. The Limited grade is equipped with a standard Panoramic View Monitor for easier maneuvering in tight spaces. The TRD Sport grade focuses on on-road performance and includes the Cross-Linked Relative Absorber System (X-REAS) suspension to improve handling on paved roads.

All 2024 4Runner models will include Toyota Safety Sense P (TSS-P) as a standard feature. This suite of driver-assist technologies comprises a Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Alert with Sway Warning System, Automatic High Beams, and High-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control.

The 4Runner is powered by a 270-horsepower DOHC 4.0-liter V6 engine with 278 lb.-ft. of peak torque. All models have a towing capacity of up to 5,000 pounds. The Limited grade features a full-time 4WD system with a Torsen center differential that adjusts the torque split in response to slippage.

The TRD Off-Road and TRD Pro models come with an electronic-locking rear differential and Toyota’s Crawl Control feature for enhanced off-road capability. These models also include a standard Multi-Terrain Select system that allows the driver to adjust wheel slip control based on the terrain. The TRD Pro model is equipped with special Fox internal bypass shocks, TRD-tuned coil springs, and a 1/4-inch-thick aluminum front skid plate with red TRD lettering.

Inside, the 4Runner TRD Pro includes HVAC controls similar to the Limited grade, a standard moonroof, and Premium Audio with JBL speakers featuring Clari-Fi technology. An optional Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System (KDSS) is available for the TRD Off-Road grade, providing extended wheel travel for off-road driving and reduced body lean on paved roads.
