Admittedly, electric car jacks are a bit of a luxury item, but they definitely come in handy if you ever get stuck with a flat tire on the side of the road. Instead of using your factory scissor jack and manually cranking to lift your car, electric car jacks make the task much easier by having you simply push a button. Most electric car jacks are capable of getting your car off the ground in under two minutes, but more importantly, they don’t require a lot of manual labor to operate.

Before deciding on an electric car jack, you’ll want to see how much your vehicle weighs so you know what capacity you need. Most electric car jacks will support anywhere from 1 ton to 3 tons, so make sure you’re purchasing one that will support the weight of your vehicle. While you’re shopping around, you may notice that many electric car jacks have similar features and even look similar. This is likely due to the fact that many of them are manufactured overseas, and some of the online vendors you are seeing are possibly selling a similar product, if not the same product.

In this article, we’ll outline all the differences between those popular electric car jacks. Once you’ve narrowed down your choices based on your vehicle’s weight, you’ll want to check out any price differences between the products available, and which ones include more accessories. Some electric car jacks include a handy impact wrench, which makes your job of changing your flat tire even easier. Most will include a convenient carrying case, so you can keep the electric car jack safely stored in your trunk when it’s not in use.

Almost all electric car jacks can be powered by the 12v cigarette lighter in your vehicle, while others can also attach straight to your car’s battery with included clamps. This makes them an ideal solution when you need to get your car safely off the ground in a hurry.

I'm looking for a truly reliable electric jack for my 2021 F-150 but using the cigarette lighter as most do here I feel is a very bad idea theses systems today are very electronic touchy the cigarette lighter are not designed to pull to many amps anyway because it will probably most likely blow a fuse now if anyone has made one that's small and compact but yet powerful and can be hooked up directly to the battery that would reach all 4 wheels make more sense to me .Now it seems these are to big or too bulky and the cigarette lighter option is just too risky so it looks like cranking the old scissor style is still the best and safest way for me .the reviews I read shows too many of them have some kind of issues which make me Leary to buy anything .besides could using it void my warranty
