Chrysler‘s slick looking 200C, first shown in concept form at the 2009 Detroit Auto Show, will apparently be put into production, if these patent drawings are any indication.

The drawings, which first surfaced on a Brazilian automotive website, show a car that looks fairly similar to the swoopy concept. While the concept featured a powertrain similar to the Volt, (capable of going for 40 miles on battery power), we’re hoping the 200C, with its rumored Pentastar V6, will replace the god-awful Sebring, and blow away any memories of the wretched rental-fodder. and usher in a new era for Chrysler’s traditionally lackluster car lineup.
