You might not want to put down your deposit yet, but according to the latest rumors, Lamborghini will in fact built a successor to the LM002 SUV.

AutoExpress reports that Lambo is moving ahead with plans to resurrect the LM002, however, it won’t be based on the Cayenne SUV platform as has been suggested in the past. Instead, the new Lambo (dubbed LM00X) will use the same underpinnings as the Audi Q5 and upcoming Porsche Cajun.

Power will likely come from a new turbocharge V8 planned for the Audi S7 with a 4.0-liter displacement and over 550-hp. Only a two-door version will be offered with a 0-60 time of under 4 seconds!

Pardon our skepticism.
