Lamborghini Aventador Orders Far Exceed Expectations Says CEO Winkelmann
With the launch of a microsite dedicated to the new Aventador LP700-4, Lamborghini is eager to point out just how well-received its new supercar is. With an initial claim that the first year was already sold out, CEO Stephan Winkelmann has now stated that, “Interest in the Aventador has been unprecedented and we have orders for far more than one year.”
Lamborghini does state that those who are interested can spec-out their Aventador at a dealer, but that the new microsite allows them to have a look at all the options before hand. Plus, it lets those of use who can’t afford the $380,000 700-hp carbon chassis beast to have some fun window shopping.

So if i was serious about buying one, what do i have to do? what 3 years? .....or more likely, these are orders placed by dealers, that plan to subsequently mark them up, and sell them for extra-profit. I'm sure there will be plenty available. Sad.
