A recall has been issued on 2011 Lexus RX350 models that are equipped with Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management (VDIM) and built between August 30th, 2010 and May 18th, 2011. Those affected by the recall have the possibility of having incorrectly calibrated hydraulic control valves. This could cause the front right tire to not be controlled properly if the ABS or Vehicle Skid Control (VSC) systems are activated. A worst case scenario can cause either a long stopping distance or the failure to correct a slide.

Those that believe they might be part of the recall should contact Lexus at 800-331-4331 or wait for their recall notice. Dealerships are expected to begin fixes this month which will replace the brake actuator with a new one.
