A week prior to the Los Angeles Auto Show Jeep is previewing two new “Arctic” special edition models, one Wrangler and one Liberty. Both the Wrangler and Liberty Arctic editions feature a collection of winter-themed accessories inside and out. Both special editions will hit showrooms this month.

The Wrangler Arctic is based on the Wrangler Sahara model (ironic?) and Jeep will offer it in Winter Chill, Bright Silver and Bright White. On the outside, Jeep has included a body-color hardtop and fender flares, Arctic badges on the front fenders, a clever Yeti Footprint decal over the driver’s side fender and hood, black hood decal and Mopar black fuel filler door and taillight guards. Those looking to take it to the next level can also opt to get the Wrangler Rubicon wheel and tire package, featuring black semi-gloss 17-inch wheels with 32-inch tires.

For the interior of the Wrangler Arctic, the seats are black Tectonic fabric with Polar White accents and orange stitching and piping. The front seats are heated and feature an Arctic logo while accent stitching can also be found on the steering wheel, arm rest and console lid. In addition, the door trim and nets are in orange while the grab handles and dashboard vent rings are all in Polar White. Finishing it all off are Mopar tread pattern slush mats with Jeep lettering on them.

The Liberty Arctic is based on the Liberty Sport 4×4 models and is very similar to the Wrangler Arctic. It will be available in Winter Chill, Bright Silver, Bright White and Mineral Gray. Similar badges are found on the fenders while the Arctic decal on the hood is unique to the Liberty. For wheels, the Liberty packs black semi-gloss 16-inch with P235/70R16 OWL all-terrain rubber. Deep tinted glass and tow hooks go well with the blacked-out headlights and standard fog lamps.

For the interior, the seats on the Liberty are covered in black vinyl with Gortex while the inserts are similar to the Wrangler’s Tectonic fabric with Polar White accents. Again, Arctic Orange contrast stitching can be found throughout the interior while the Liberty also features gray-faced gauges, express up/down one-touch windows, Media Center 430 touch-screen head unit that powers a nine-speaker Infiniti sound system, and the similar Mopar slush mats found in the Wrangler.
