This weekend, Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca will play host to the largest Lotus Cup USA Series event yet with over 33 entrants participating in the weekend’s festivities.

It will be the sixth event on the calendar of the Lotus Cup USA Series, and will be the biggest Lotus-only race ever in North America. The Lotus Cup Series runs all around the world, including in UK, Europe, Eastern Europe, Italy, and Japan. Sunday’s feature race will have 27 entries including an Evora GT-4, at least one Evora cup car, several 2-Elevens, a 2-Eleven GT4, multiple Lotus Exige Cup cars, and plenty of street-modified Exige and Elise models.

In addition to the road race, Time Attack sessions will also take place, along with an Evora Performance Driving Experience. After this weekend’s race at Laguna Seca, the Lotus Cup USA Series will close off with five more events throughout the United States. Undoubtedly the series is growing and those with a Lotus should take a look if interested.
